The University of Florida Department of Urology is pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. Michael A. Dennis, who joins us as an Assistant Professor and Co-Medical Director in the Department of Urology. Effective August 3rd, Dr. Dennis began providing additional expertise for the surgical and medical management of general urology diseases including urinary stone disease, impotence, BPH, prostate cancer screening and management, urinary tract infection, and incontinence. Dr. Dennis will work with the faculty providing the full range of urologic services in the primary clinic location at the Medical Plaza as well as potential community sites.
Dr. Dennis completed his residencies in surgery and urology at the University of Florida and was in a private urologic practice in Port St. Lucie until his recent return to Gainesville. He has actively participated in leadership positions within the Florida Urological Society and the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Society.
