hosp

At the University of Florida Department of Urology we have an opening for a one-year advanced Endourology/MIS fellowship approved by the Endourological Society starting July 2016. This fellowship is completely funded and offers flexibility in training in either endourology or laparoscopy/robotics or both alongside experienced surgeons and mentors including Drs. Vincent Bird, Benjamin Canales and Li-Ming Su.

Fellowship training is centered at UF Health-Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, with a rotation at the Malcom Randall VA Hospital located across the street. Unique features of this fellowship include:

  • Broad clinical training in endourology, laparoscopy and robotic surgery with the ability to tailor one’s fellowship based on individual interest.
  • Animate “wet” lab run twice a month in a fully equipped training laboratory with anesthesia support.
  • Robotic simulation training weekly.

This is an excellent opportunity for any graduating resident or fellow seeking additional training in endourology or minimally invasive urologic surgery.

Interested applicants are asked to forward their CV with two letters of recommendation to Linda Horne at 352-273-6870 or linda.horne@urology.ufl.edu.
