UF Health Cancer Center Awards American Cancer Society Pilot Grants

William Donelan, Ph.D., a research assistant scientist in the department of urology in the UF College of Medicine, was awarded a grant for his project, titled “Novel antibody-drug conjugates for the treatment of bladder cancer.” This project seeks to develop a new class of antibody-drug conjugates that can selectively target and kill bladder cancer cells, while sparing healthy tissues.

Paul Crispen, MD promoted to Associate Director for Clinical Research for UF Health Cancer Center

“I am delighted to take on this position, which will enable me to advocate for all patients receiving care at UF Health,” Crispen said. “My primary goal is to increase opportunities for our patients to participate in clinical trials, which will involve improving the efficiency of opening trials, enhancing identification of patients who may be eligible for trials, and developing investigator-initiated trials at UF Health that best meet the needs of our patients.”
