Facilities
We are fortunate that most of our hospital and clinic coverage is close to the main hospital. The Clinic and the Veterans Hospital is only a short walk, and the affiliate hospitals and surgery centers are less than a 5 minute drive away. In Gainesville we mainly cover 2 hospitals: Shands at University of Florida, and the Gainesville VAMC. We use Alachua General Hospital (AGH), Ayers Surgery Center, and Florida Surgical Center for outpatient procedures. Additionally we have some inpatient cases at AGH, and cover AGH consults 2 weeks per month.
