Prestigious Medical Society Invites Urology Faculty Member to speak on Innovative Microsurgical Techniques


Dr. Sijo Parekattil, Director of Robotic Microsurgery, has been asked by the National Medical Association, the leading medical society for African American physicians, to present two lectures on the use of robotic assistance for complex microsurgical procedures. The talks will focus on the anatomic basis and novel treatment approaches for Chronic Orchialgia/Groin Pain and new reconstructive options for male infertility therapy. Dr.Parekattil and the UF Robotic Microsurgery Team are pioneering leaders in the field of robotic microsurgery and are actively involved in the development of new microsurgical techniques and devices.
