Evidence Based Urology text cover

Philipp Dahm, MD, MHSc, associate professor and co-director of the urology residency program, recently served as editor, with Roger Dmochowski, MD from Vanderbilt University, for a ground-breaking new text on Evidence-based Urology. Published by Wiley and available in July 2010,” Evidence-based Urology” provides up-to-date information on the appropriateness of both medical and surgical treatment options for a broad spectrum of urological conditions based on current best evidence. Each chapter addresses a series of focused clinical questions that are addressed in a systematic fashion, including a comprehensive literature search, a rating of the quality of evidence, and an assessment of ratio of benefit and harm of a given treatment option.
