UF Department of Urology is pleased to announce the addition of Kirstan K. Meldrum, MD, FAAP

UF Department of Urology is pleased to announce the addition of Kirstan K. Meldrum, MD, FAAP to our faculty as Professor and Chief of Pediatric Urology for UF&Shands in Gainesville. Dr. Meldrum received her medical degree with honors from the University of Colorado and completed her urology residency training at Indiana University.   She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Urology at Johns Hopkins University and served as Director of Pediatric Urological Research for the past 10 years at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Dr. Meldrum will provide our community with comprehensive pediatric urological care. Her surgical interests include reconstructive surgery for congenital anomalies of the upper and lower urinary tract, reconstructive genital surgery, the spectrum of bladder exstrophy and epispadias, stone disease, and minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
