UF Urology residents and faculty ventured into the darkness on June 7, 2013 for the inaugural golf challenge at West End Golf Course. For those not familiar with night golf, West End is the largest lighted golf course in the world. By the way, the rough is lighted only by the moon. The resident team of Blake Evans, Rishi Modh and Akira  Yamamoto prevailed by one stroke over the resident/PA team of Joe Pugh, Joey Ellen and Rebekka Singhal and the faculty team of Larry Yeung, Philip Dahm, Benjaman Canales, Scott Gilbert and myself. The winners prevailed despite losing the so called “mother ball” on the next to last hole. The celebration continued at the Tioga Towne Center and the bad golfers were joined by non-golfers Li Ming Su and Mohit Gupta. The plaque, with the winners named inscribed, will permanently be on display in the Department. The next resident-faculty contest will resurface for a charitable cause in Movember for the annual mustache growing event in November.
