The University of Florida Board of Trustees and the College of Medicine has recently announced the promotion of its faculty and tenure appointments. Congratulations to Lawrence L. Yeung, MD, who was promoted to Clinical Associate Professor of Urology.

Important factors in granting tenure and promotion include international recognition of scholarship, the quality and impact of teaching and contributions to the University of Florida.  Dr. Yeung joined the UF Department of Urology as faculty in July, 2011.  He completed his UF Urology Residency in June, 2010.  His clinical interests and skills are: Reconstructive surgery of the genitals and urinary tract for defects that result from trauma, cancer, infections and other causes.

It is my pleasure and honor to announce Larry Yeung’s promotion to Associate Professor. Please join me in congratulating Larry on this wonderful and well deserved accomplishment. I think that we all can agree that Larry has been a model faculty member, surgeon and educator who has excelled in all fronts.
