About
The First Annual UF Health Fertility Preservation Symposium, Pre & Post Oncology Treatment: Fertility Preservation and Quality Reproductive Survivorship is designed to describe the basic science advances in fertility preservation and restoration. It will also bring attention to reproductive risks of cancer therapy and options to help survivors build a family after treatment. Attendees will be made aware of the impacts of cancer therapy on reproduction and long term health, as well as methods of preserving fertility.
Target Audience
Designed with relevant information for Primary Care Providers, Oncology Providers, Radiation Oncologists, REi’s, Endocrinologists, Urologists, Rheumatologists, Nurses, and Social Workers.
Learning Objectives
As a result of participation in this activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe the basic sciences advances in fertility preservation and restoration
- Bring attention to reproductive risks of cancer therapy and options to help survivors build a family after treatment
- Review current and updated guidelines in male and female cancer survivors as well as the most current strategies for fertility preservation
