The American Urological Association (AUA) has announced Thomas F. Stringer, MD, FACS, as Treasurer-elect, a position he will assume in May 2020. He will hold the position of Treasurer-elect until May of 2021 when he becomes Treasurer of the Association, as well as its official foundation, the Urology Care Foundation.

Stringer was selected as the new AUA Treasurer-elect, a position that he will formally assume in May 2020. I can think of no better person to represent our organization. Dr. Stringer has demonstrated sound fiscal understanding of organized medicine as it pertains to academic and community-based practice urologists alike. This position is a great honor and a well deserved recognition for Tom, who has spent so much of his professional and personal time to giving back to fellow colleagues and trainees in our field.
