UF Urology “Movember” Shave Off

No Shave November “Movember” is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

By encouraging men to get involved, Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths. In addition to annual check-ups, Movember encourages men to be aware of family history of cancer and to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

The 8th Annual UF Department of Urology celebration of Movember culminated with the traditional shave party hosted by Tom and Leah Stringer. All legal mustache attempts, for better or worse, were awarded.  As you can see, a good time was had by all.
