Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Compare the transrectal (TR) and transperineal (TP) approaches to ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy with regard to procedural morbidity and diagnostic efficacy
  2. Review the technical approach to TP prostate biopsy, including procedural evolution and techniques for MRI/US fusion
  3. Review emerging technologies and future direction for imaging-guided TP biopsy

Urologists, Residents, Nurses, Physician Assistants, and Staff
