This year, National Nurses Week, traditionally celebrated from May 6 to May 12 each year, is now a month-long celebration to recognize the vast contributions and to shine a spotlight on the incredible nurses (registered nurses, nurse practitioners, OR nurses, LPNs and others) across the country that have devoted their lives to the betterment of the lives of others.
In this past year, more was asked of you than ever before by putting your lives on the front lines in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. While one month is not nearly enough, we want to take this this time to share our gratitude by offering our support for the work you do every day, in times of crisis, and always.
We celebrate the efforts made by you in caring for our patients. We recognize and reflect upon the challenging conditions you face in practice, whether they be physical, emotional, or mental. We appreciate your hard work, dedication and compassion you demonstrate.
On behalf of our faculty, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
