LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Introduce and define transitional care in urology.
  2. Discuss the difficulties and high-risk complications associated with delayed care particularly in early transition.
  3. Review several commonly seen congenital problems that pose unique challenges for adult urologists and adult patients.
  4. Discuss long-term surveillance and treatment recommendations, if applicable, for various congenital urologic problems.
