LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Review current methods for uropathogen detection
  • Discuss newer technologies, including PCR and next generation sequencing
  • Evaluate prior studies utilizing these new technologies for urology and kidney stone patients
  • Identify gaps in our knowledge and potential for future clinical trials
