The UF Department of Urology is thrilled to announce the addition of its newest UroGator, Dr. Joshua Heiman, after matching into the UF Urology 2024 – 2025 Endourology/MIS Fellowship.
Medical School: Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL
Residency: Indiana University, Bloomington, IN
Clinical Interests: Within the field of urology, he is particularly drawn to minimally invasive surgery, the management of kidney and localized prostate cancer, HoLEP, BPH, as well as addressing challenges like ureteropelvic junction obstruction, ureteral stricture disease and complex kidney stones.
Interests: Joshua is a huge fan of Michigan football and basketball, as well as all Chicago sports teams. Exploring new places and traveling is a passion of his and he is looking forward to relocating to Gainesville with his wife, Erica, and their golden retriever, Indy
