Vincent G. Bird MD, Tezcan Ozragat Baslanti PhD, and their multidisciplinary team are the recipients of the 2026 AI2Heal Catalyst Grant from the intelligent care center. This grant is awarded for multidisciplinary collaborations between AI researchers and clinical and basic science faculty. Members of the multi-disciplinary research team also include Esra Adiyeke PhD and Artenisa Kulla MD (URO, PGY-1). The team will longitudinally map emergency department kidney stone care outcomes, trajectories and risk prediction of acute kidney injury and hospital admission.
