The Department of Urology gathered at the Cade Museum for Creativity and Innovation June 19th to celebrate its 2026 graduates.
Each year, we bid a fond farewell to residents and fellows who have honored us with their time and talent, contributing their expertise and passion to our mission of patient care, education and research. While we’re sad to see them go, we’re beyond excited to see what they do next and we know that wherever they go they’ll be taking the Gator Nation with them.

Miranda Holloway, M.D., will be joining the Malcom Randall Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Trisha Nguyen, M.D., will begin a fellowship in endourology and minimally invasive urological surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Jordan Smith, M.D., will begin a fellowship in endourology and minimally invasive urological surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, AL.
We likewise wish all the best to our outgoing endourology and minimally invasive urological surgery fellow.
Jonathan Diah, M.D., M.P.H., will be joining the Advanced Urology Institute in Panama City Beach, FL.
All four graduates were inducted into the UroGators Alumni Society.
In addition, professor Lawrence Yeung, M.D., was awarded the Resident Teaching Award by the outgoing chiefs.
Abdel Alli, Ph.D., M.P.H., and Rupam Ruchi, M.D., both associate professors in the UF Department of Nephrology, were given mentorship and teaching awards in recognition of their commitment and outstanding contributions to research collaboration, excellence in teaching and dedicated mentorship.
Congratulations to everybody who was honored at last week’s graduation ceremony. You are all an essential part of what makes the UF Department of Urology an amazing place to teach, learn and practice.
