Rotations are performed across multiple facilities that include, but not limited to, the locations listed below:

Rotations are divided into five levels of competencies:

  • URO 1:  As an intern, residents will spend 6 months in Urology and 6 months on General Surgery related rotations which include: Vascular Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Transplant, Colorectal Surgery, and among others.
  • URO 2:  Night Float, Urologic Oncology, Urogynecology/Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS)/Men’s Health, Consults, and VA (General Urology).
  • URO 3: Night Float, Consults, Urogynecology/Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS)/Men’s Health, Minimal Invasive Surgery, Endourology/Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate (HoLEP), and Urologic Oncology.
  • URO 4:  Pediatric Urology, Minimal Invasive Surgery, and Endourology/Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate (HoLEP).
  • URO 5: VA (General Urology), Urogynecology/Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS)/Men’s Health, and Urologic Oncology.
