UF Urology Attends Joint Advocacy Conference, Washington DC

On February 28 – March 1, 2016, Dr. Tom Stringer, Dr. Russ Terry and Dr. James Mason attended the Joint Advocacy Conference, Washington DC.  Co-hosted by the American Association of Clinical Urologists (AACU) and the American Urological Association (AUA), the JAC is the largest federal advocacy fly-in for urologists throughout the country.

The conference hosted speakers ranging from academic urologists to government employees and elected officials. It featured grassroots lobbying training for those new to the process and provided each participant with an opportunity to meet with elected officials and their staff.

Attending as well, were former UF Urology residents and faculty: Dr. Ali Kasraeian, Dr. Rolando Rivera, Dr. Kevin Lee and Dr. Martin Dineen.
